On the outskirts of Dudleytown in Cornwall Connecticut sits a
beautiful old cemetery. We had heard from several people that
there were interesting things found in the cemetery (not only
paranormal). We were told the direct descendants of the Dudley's
and others who lived in Dudleytown were buried there. While our
team walked around the large cemetery it wasn't long before we
stumbled across several Dudley stones.

Dudley's from Dudleytown?
We noticed a gated area where a family was buried and thought
this would be a great place to run a EVP session. While setting up I
noticed there were many children buried in the area, maybe a 4 to 1
ratio over adults so I decided to ask questions to the children. I
started by asking simple questions like "did you have a dog?" and
"what was your favorite toy?". I then said "my name is John, whats
your name?". Naturally I thought to myself, this is a bright and
beautiful warm summer day, we will never catch anything. To my
surprise later that evening one of our investigators Jayme called
me and said I have to listen to this voice clip he found. He said I
swear there is a child voice after I asked what their name was.
Listen below to the EVP which sounds like a voice answers
"Chris".

We had been told of a man who was buried there and his body
was exhumed and sent to Hawaii. The person we chatted with
said the mans name was Henry who was born in Hawaii died
here in Cornwall and before he died his last wish was that he be
buried in his homeland of Hawaii. They told us being the year
1818 there really wasnt anyway to quickly get the body down
there. Over the years people from the area visited Henry's grave
laying him gifts and money on the gravesite. We found the
grave and were surprised to find even after being sent back to
Hawaii in 1993 people still were leaving gifts on the empty
grave. There were coins, shells, old ropes and necklaces over
the tomb.
